Find a random note on the guitar.
Step 1. Is the note LOW, MIDDLE or HIGH?
Step 2. Now play a guess note. Don't jump off this note!!!!
Step 3. Is your guess the same pitch or a different pitch?
Step 4. If it's the same pitch then yippee!!!!!
Step 5. If it's different is your note higher or lower than one being played?
Step 6a. If it's lower then creep up one fret at a time til you find the played note.
Step 6b. If it's higher then creep down one fret at a time til you find the played note.
HINT: your main focus is to listen. No jumping all the over the guitar until you have a miracle and find the note. Keep listening to the played note and work it out!!!
